Ryan Lee Gallant
Ryan has returned to Canada after spending 5 years overseas studying, practicing, and teaching yoga. Originally from Vancouver, BC, he left his job there as a Kinesiologist to study in India. After 6 months in India, Yoga, meditation, and spiritual studies became his purpose. He extended his travels onward to Australia, and SouthEast
Asia before returning to India to dive even deeper into Yoga training. He found his teacher in Rishikesh and spent 6 months training 5-6 hours a day. It was at this point he felt ready to return to Canada and share his knowledge.
He experienced nearly every style of yoga in his travels, taking parts from each to form his own unique style. He teaches with attention to detail in each pose while maintaining a meditative flow to the class. His background as a Kinesiologist allows him to see each student’s limitations so that he can modify their pose to best suit their body. He can teach a range of classes; from Strong Vinyasa to Yin and everything in between. Ryan’s goal is that you will become more connected to your body and breath so that you can calm your mind and realize the strength, grace and beauty of your body.
